He’s been busying forging a success presenting career in LA while wife Michelle Keegan has been hard at work back home in the UK.
And Mark Wright, 31, took a flying visit to his native Essex to surprise his mum, dad and grandparents by walking into their local pub – but Michelle sadly missed out due to her filming commitments.

The camera then pans to his parents sat at the bar and his surprised mother gleaming with joy as she waves at Mark.
The reality TV veteran also used the fleeting visiting to drop in on his grandparents – while Michelle is thought to have been in Cheshire filming her new TV show Brassic.
Michelle was took to her Instagram to share a picture of eating a meal for one with her adorable sausage dog.

While Michelle has been throwing herself into her career, filming for new Sky drama Brassic, her husband Mark continues to work in Los Angeles.
Mark made the move to the States where he rubs shoulders with the stars of Hollywood for his hot shot job as a presenter on entertainment news show Extra.
The former reality star is thought to have headed back to South Africa, after landing a new presenting gig on The Bachelor UK.

Brassic follows the story of Lancashire native Vinnie, played by Joe Gilgun, who suffers from bipolar disorder and his best pal Dylan, who he has been inseparable from since childhood.
Yet, Michelle’s character Erin, who is Dylan’s girlfriend, threatens the childhood comrades’ friendship when she plans to leave town and start a new life for herself and her son, Tyler. The decision leaves Dylan choosing between his pals and love.
The series is slated for a 2019 release, and will star also star This Is England actor Joe Gilgun, who co-created the series alongside writer Danny Brocklehurst.

Following her soap star days, Michelle has gone on to find success in BBC drama Ordinary lies, ITV2 comedy Plebs and has won high praise for her portrayal of army medic Georgie Lane in Our Girl.
The couple have hit back at fans who have speculated the pair are no longer together, as they are rarely spotted together due to their busy schedules.
Hoever, the couple were reunited in Essex, last month, as Mark made a visit home, with the pair enjoying a night out at hot-spot Faces.
Their appearance together comes after Michelle claimed the couple see each other more than they let others know, as they choose not to publish their reunions on social media.

The former soap star told FABULOUS magazine: ‘No one knows how much we see each other because we don’t publicise it. People say: “Ah, they haven’t seen each other for ages,” but they don’t know.
‘Mark sometimes comes home for a weekend and no one knows he’s even there. Over the years we’ve learned how to do that and I’ve definitely become more private.’
Michelle added she’s ‘proud’ that the pair lead different careers, insisting that her marriage is ‘her business’ and has ‘given up commenting on it.’
